SCMP Takes a Pop at Asian Airlines
In a thinly veiled attack at Asia’s airlines, and in an article completely retitled from it’s print version, Hong Kong’s English language newspaper, the South China Morning Post criticised the lack of opportunities for more mature stewardesses. Read the article here.
“If you are trying to run a whorehouse in the sky – get a licence.”
Let’s face it, who would you rather serve you on your flight from HK to Bangkok? A grumpy, miserable stewardess (have you ever flown American Airlines??), or a bright young thing in a well fitting uniform.
And as for safety, if your plane hurtles to the ground from 36,000 feet, it doesn’t matter how experienced the crew is.
And if you still need convincing, take a look at our slideshow of Asian in-flight goodness here.
